Susan Budig, May 11, 2009, 9:38AM EDTHI Kerry, Thanks for commenting on my playlist. Personally, I only made one for the "game" to earn points. If it looks interesting and easy enough, I'll participate. We won't use the other P-word that I'm actually doing by playing these games.
I'm sending my chapbook in to St. Catherine's because at the class reunions, alum can have their book at a special table that features alumna-written books. My problem is that I have to create a website where I can sell the book so that alum and others can go there to purchase it. :-) -

Aaron Lazar, (author of LeGarde Mysteries), May 4, 2009, 9:37AM EDTKerry, re. your comments on "Letting Go" - You made an excellent point! I have been able to reconnect with my friends in person lately because of the layoff. It's one of the hidden blessings. I never want to lose touch with them again. Thanks so much for the great advice. ;o)

Susan Budig, Mar 19, 2009, 1:34PM EDTThanks for your comment on my article, Kerry. That all the people mentioned in the poem have read it almost staggers me. It was a very propitiative experience to write it. (And I must admit that normally I don't use words in writing that are unfamiliar, but propitiative seemed the most appropriate, so although it's not really part of my vocabulary--it's in the visualthesaurus--I am using it to mean reconciling.)

Susan Budig, Mar 7, 2009, 2:33AM ESTTerence Simien, eh? He played at the Minnesota Zoo in the past two years and I had a slate full of shows already in queue. He was one I let go.
But still. He's a Southern fella! -

Susan Budig, Dec 30, 2008, 10:51PM ESTThanks for your comment, Kerry. I'm pretty excited about the Fiddle essay as I've done some extensive work on it and have been encouraged personally by a magazine publisher who's reviewed it.
