Thanks for the head's up! -
Susan Budig, Jul 6, 2009, 11:34AM EDTThe MN Zoo is my favorite outdoor venue. It's always beautiful weather. Except one time when it rained, but Nathan and the Zydeco Cha-Chas were playing as well as BeauSoleil, so I didn't notice ANYTHING less than wonderful.
To me, it's an odd combination to have the zoo promoting these concerts. I'd think the loud music would bother the animals. But everyone seems happy. Thanks for reading, Kerry. -
Susan Budig, Jul 2, 2009, 5:20PM EDTHey Kerry, you can read this or not; it's not all that, but I thought I'd share with you since you gave me some inspiration: Femi Kuti story

Susan Budig, May 11, 2009, 9:38AM EDTHI Kerry, Thanks for commenting on my playlist. Personally, I only made one for the "game" to earn points. If it looks interesting and easy enough, I'll participate. We won't use the other P-word that I'm actually doing by playing these games.
I'm sending my chapbook in to St. Catherine's because at the class reunions, alum can have their book at a special table that features alumna-written books. My problem is that I have to create a website where I can sell the book so that alum and others can go there to purchase it. :-) -

Aaron Lazar, (author of LeGarde Mysteries), May 4, 2009, 9:37AM EDTKerry, re. your comments on "Letting Go" - You made an excellent point! I have been able to reconnect with my friends in person lately because of the layoff. It's one of the hidden blessings. I never want to lose touch with them again. Thanks so much for the great advice. ;o)
