Kerry Dexter is an independent writer, producer, educator, and photographer. She's music editor at Wandering Educators, writer at Perceptive Travel, and former folk music editor at VH1.com. Her work has also appeared in Strings, Ireland and the Americas, CMT, Barnes & Noble Music, National Geographic Traveler, Florida Public Television, CBC, The MusicHound Guides, American Counterculture, and other print, electronic, and broadcast media. She also writes about the arts and creative practice at the award winning blog Music Road. She is a former music columnist at Gather, where her column, Voices, featured interviews with a range of country, folk and Celtic musicians including Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Donal Clancy, Cathie Ryan, and others, as well as opinion pieces and reviews.
